About Us

We went to the beach for the sunrise in June.  He was so excited about going, which is odd since he is NOT a morning person.  When we got out there, I realized his heart was about to beat out of his chest!  I asked him what was wrong, and he reassured me he was just cold.  He read our verse (Ephesians 4:1-4) and talked about all the awesome things the Lord was doing in our lives together.  As he spoke, I realized he was going on an on, and I thought, “Is he going to ask me?”  As he continued, I noticed him fiddling around in the bag we brought.  I  turned around he had the box in his hand and he asked me to marry him!!  I said “Of course!”  and threw my arms around his neck!  It was so awesome!  We celebrated with his parents all that day.  It was fantastic and a COMPLETE suprise.
